The arts belong to everyone.
A community rich with arts and culture attracts families, companies, and tourists – who in turn create more energy and financial support for schools and vital services. The arts need everyone's support to thrive. That’s where you come in.

Learn more about Work for Art

Your gift supports many vital arts & culture organizations!

Your gift to Work for Art will be distributed through a competitive grants program administered by the Regional Arts & Culture Council. 100+ regional arts and culture organizations that have demonstrated exceptional artistic quality, proven community service, and fiscal responsibility are awarded these grants each year.

You can also direct your gift to support arts education. Your donation enables our funded arts and culture organizations to provide nearly 500,000 arts education experiences for students of all ages in urban and rural areas throughout the region and state. Arts education curriculum is designed to tie in with academic subjects such as science, math, health, and history. Many of these organizations are providing critical education services while school funding continues to be cut.

You may also designate your gift to a specific arts and culture organization of your choice, based in Clackamas, Multnomah, or Washington County.

Services Provided by Work for Art's Funded Groups
You can support 100+ extraordinary regional arts and culture organizations with a single gift to Work for Art. Your dollars directly benefit arts organizations that enrich our families, neighborhoods, schools, and communities with thousands of events, arts education experiences, and outreach services across the region and state.

With your help, our funded arts organizations can reach out to those who would not otherwise have access to the power and inspiration of the arts due to income, disabilities, isolation, or other barriers. These groups provide transportation, scholarships, free or discounted performances, workshops, and diverse arts experiences in partnership with more than 100 health and social service agencies, including:
